Body At Midnight: Wardrobe by Ivana Musura
This is a project I worked on with some great people. I made this dress out the finest French lace and I also styled the shoot.
Check out these posts to see some close-ups of the wardrobe:

Time Saving Sewing Tips
measure twice, cut once!
The golden rule. Make sure that you're sure before cutting anything.
fine-tune and adjust pattern before sewing
That's not to say you won't need to make small adjustment later on, but this is a guaranteed way to cut down on the fitting process.
use machine attachments for quicker finishes
Instead of stitching rows of basting for gathering, try a gathering foot. Use a blind hemming foot (with a guide) or a narrow hemming foot to eliminate hand sewing.
use the spray button on your iron to remove washable markings
Usually, any marks that are made are on the wrong side of the fabric and are tiny. Spray some water on the marks and watch them disappear.
keep a magnet in your sewing room
Just in case you spill pins. Much more convenient than having to pick up each pin off the floor.
use a rotary cutter to cut out pattern pieces
Way faster to cut as you are simply gliding a blade around the pattern. Use a smaller blade for curves and other details of the pattern.
choose time saving patterns
Some patterns are designed to be "time saving." Choose a 2-hr dress pattern or a 1-hr skirt pattern to cut down sewing time.
buy pre-cut interfacing
Trim, steam, done!
hang garment in bathroom while showering to avoid ironing
This obviously depends on the fabric and how wrinkly your garment really is, but doing this will definitely save you time when getting ready.
